Love Poetry – Our Love Will Survive
There comes a time when I can’t look you in the eyes
I’d be angry, mad, so frustrated with your lies
I’d want to run away, as far as my legs can go
Hide my tears, cause it hurts to always hear you say No
It feels like a million years, but it barely was yesterday
We were walking hand in hand, down that dark alley
You told me you feel safe and sound, unafraid of the dark
Nothing would come between us, not even a killer shark
Today I woke up in my bed, thinking of what you said
Should I give you another chance, after all the ones you had
You know I have a soft spot, cause of my forgiving heart
So from today and beyond, this is our brand new start
I’ll cherish all the Love we have, even when we sometimes fight
Nothing’s perfect in this world, but we need to trust in the Light
No matter what life will throw at us, together we are strong enough
It’s the ultimate test in this life, to see if our Love will truly survive
Love Poetry – A Heartless Tyrant
There’s something that you need to know
Cause it feels so wrong to leave you alone
I can’t deny that to you I belong
But I can’t admit you’re the Queen of my throne
Committed to Love and the Lord above
Not to a paper signed without Love
What difference does it make
When from a priest, the permission we take
I Love you now with no conditions
With no limits, excuses or reasons
But if tomorrow I feel any different
Would that make me a heartless tyrant?
Love Poetry – A Love That’s Pure
Is it you that I’ve been searching for
Or am I still lost at heaven’s door
Why do I always shut you out
And I forget all the time we had
To my surprise I’m still not sure
How to know, how to be assured
Are you who they call the One
And Is this a battle that I won
It’s the ending you’ve been waiting for
A happy one that keeps giving more
A feeling so strong, you can’t ignore
Makes you want to shout and roar
It hits like a flooding river
Can never know receiver from giver
This is when you’ll know for sure
You have found a Love that’s pure
