The President of the Igbo Film Producers Affiliation of Nigeria (IMPAN), JohnPaul Nwanganga, on Thursday, mentioned Igbo Artwork, Culture and Movie Competition would promote the beauty of The organisers say the pageant aims to reawaken the consciousness of Ndigbo toward the attractiveness of their society, Igbo society.
Mr Nwanganga claimed this at the unveiling of the Igbo Most important Art, Society and Movie Pageant in Enugu.
He explained the festival was also a way to endorse Igbo society and provide the region’s men and women jointly.
According to him, the pageant aims to reawaken the consciousness of Ndigbo towards the beauty of their society.
The IMPAN President mentioned the competition would re-establish and revive dwindling Igbo tradition, especially the Igbo language, by generating awareness in their minds.
He said the pageant would showcase flicks, tunes and dance manufactured employing the language and way of life of the region’s individuals.
“So with this challenge, we are bringing the five states of the South-east together and earning them realize that inspite of the range in their numerous cultures, languages and traditions, they are one particular.
“There is that custom that binds Igbo men and women alongside one another, which we are striving to bring alive by this lovely challenge.
“We are going to have films generated in Igbo dialect, Igbo music like “Igbo Amaka” by Flavour and things like that, which will go a long way to market Igbo id and heritage.

“Igbo Artwork Exhibition will be used to showcase creative imagination by Ndigbo,” he stated.
Mr Nwanganga explained the festival would be extended to Delta-Igbo and Igbo-speaking folks in Rivers Point out.

Unveiling the project, Patience Ozokwor, who was Matron to the Organising Committee, blessed the venture, saying that the competition would be 1 in town.

Ms Ozokwor lauded Nwanganga for initiating the thought and urged absolutely everyone to help the venture.
