In conjunction with our major pictures exhibition, Existence: The Pictures Assortment of Judy Glickman Lauder, PMA Movies will be screening films all through November that pair with artists and unique functions from the show.

Screening 11 a.m. Sunday, November 6: Gordon Parks, renowned as a photographer and novelist, broke substantial floor with his debut movie, 1969’s The Mastering Tree, an enduring social drama that was not too long ago restored by the Criterion Assortment. Get tickets below!

Screening 11 a.m. Sunday, November 13: The Salt of the Earth is a 2014 documentary co-directed by the excellent Wim Wenders (Wings of Need Paris, Texas) and Juliano Ribeiro Saldago, the son of photographer Sebastião Salgado, who is commemorated in this attractive feature. Get tickets right here!

Screening 11 a.m. Sunday, November 20: A deceptively featherweight comedy that tweaks cinema’s “male gaze,” Howard Hawks’s 1953 Gentlemen Desire Blondes features a person of the best performances by Marilyn Monroe, captured in Existence by Richard Avedon. Get tickets listed here!
